Built between 1447 and 1475 probably by Guiniforte Solari with the finacial aid of the banker Pigello Portinari.It was restored the last time in 1912,the only original part remain the central section of the front.
San Pietro in Gessate was partially destroyed by bombing during the 2nd world war.
