YELLOW LINE (LINE M3)

Built from 1981 to be ready for the 1990 FIFA FOOTBALL WOLRD CUP it is called YELLOW LINE due to yellow signage.It is 17,1 km long with 21 stations.The line crossing the city runs from the north border of the city called COMASINA station to south part outside the city called SAN DONATO MILANESE.
 

URBAN RAILWAY

The urban railway is underground and superficial rail rounding the city and connect rail stations and underground lines.THE PASSANTE FERROVIARIO was opened in 1997 is 13 km long inside the municipality with 2 number of tracks.In the pic PORTA ROMANA SATION one of the six urban stops.

A typical milan transportation is the tramway for sure,since 1893 non stop daily service,here inside one of the last model delivered the TRAMWAY 7000's series.

This wall is a permanente isntallatioan along the way since june 2014,THE WALL OF DOLLS is to remind nowdays the feminicide is again with us.In milan the permanent installation was supported by locals.Is to remember not only the feminicide but the situation of social exclusion where women doesn't have same opportunities as men.

Part of the system of the Milan's canals the project of the NAVIGLIO MARTESANA date back on june 3,1443 by the duke of milan FILIPPO MARIA VISCONTI.You can enjoy wonderful 38km bicycle riding or a walking every day of the year.
